5th night of Chanukah
In front of the newly-decorated tree. Isn't she getting pretty good?

My contribution to the meal - apple pie!
Checking out Corney the corn snake
Cooper with his friends Olivia (middle) and Elise (on the right). By the way, Cooper often says he is going to marry Elise when he grows up.

Kestrel on stage with the top 10 costumes!
Her top 10 prize was a token for the carousel. I bought one for Cooper so they could have a ride together.

I meant to post this a while ago. This was October 9th, during Kestrel's fall break from school. I meet up with a group of my mom friends every once in a while for breakfast and Kestrel came with us a couple of times while she was out of school. These were taken at Panera, and she's holding my friend Erika's baby Oscar. I just thought they were cute!
It finally feels like fall! We were at the park yesterday and Kestrel found some leaves she could make into a leaf pile (we don't know the other girl in the picture).Today it was about 30 degrees cooler. The kids and I bundled up in coats and hats and took a long walk around the neighborhood late afternoon. Actually Cooper road his bike but Kestrel and I walked. Kestrel was having fun searching for colorful leaves.
