toes

Kestrel wanted me to paint her toenails this morning. Of course, she came up with the pink and green stripes/alternating colors. I told her I would try it, but wasn't sure how well I could do it. In the end I think they came out pretty cute! Dreaming of summer here ...

very cute! We do alot of that as well.. I always do a design on her big toenail and then paint the rest, usually a flower or some wierd pattern..and we usually throw in a jewel on the big toe as well.. then I paint my own toenails the same!

Hi Dori!
Not that you need ideas-- you are incredibly creative already-- but I've used stencils on tiny little kids' nails, having the kids practice patience while waiting for each layer to dry. Then, the nails feel extra heavy, since they have so much paint on them. That aspect is funny, too. It chips off really fast, with so many layers, though. -Holly (Wally's girl)
